Our Vision
Are you a qualified or pre-accredited counsellor or psychotherapist looking to deepen your expertise in working with sexual violence? Join our 8-weekend course (Saturday and Sunday) at the Galway Rape Crisis Centre!
Our specialist training program is informed by over 40 years of counselling survivors of sexual abuse and violence. This comprehensive course draws on a range of theoretical models and is designed to build on your existing knowledge and skills. This program provides you with the understanding, knowledge and skills to work with survivors of child sexual abuse and adult sexual violence in a humanistic and integrative way.
Cost: €1,600 with instalment option available.
Closing Date for application is December 1st, 2025, with the course commencing mid-January 2026

Payment Plan
€500 deposit (non-refundable) on acceptance of place on course.
5 monthly instalments of €220 from January 2026 to May 2026.
